User Agreement

CNVY is a social driving and discovery platform where people log drives, discover places, and share experiences. By creating an account or using CNVY, you agree to follow this agreement, applicable law, and all in-app rules. You are responsible for content posted through your account and for activity that occurs while you are signed in.

Your account should represent a real person or authorized organization. Keep your login credentials secure, do not share your account with others, and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Community Rules

• No spam, scams, deceptive promotions, repetitive posting, or fake engagement behavior.
• No bots, scripts, fake accounts, automation abuse, scraping abuse, or attempts to manipulate platform metrics.
• No hate speech, harassment, bullying, threats, stalking, intimidation, or content targeting protected groups.
• No sexual exploitation, violent extremism, or instructions that facilitate illegal or dangerous behavior.
• No impersonation of people, brands, or organizations, and no false claims of affiliation.
• No posting private, personal, or sensitive information of others without clear permission.

Driving and Safety

• Do not operate CNVY in a way that distracts from safe driving. If interaction is needed, pull over safely first.
• Always follow traffic laws, posted limits, and local rules. CNVY features never override legal obligations.
• CNVY must not be used to organize, encourage, or document reckless driving or unsafe conduct.
• CNVY is not an emergency service, navigation authority, or law-enforcement substitute.

Enforcement

We may moderate content and accounts to protect users and platform integrity. Depending on severity and repeat behavior, we may remove content, issue warnings, reduce visibility, suspend features, temporarily lock accounts, or permanently terminate access.

We may preserve and disclose relevant information when required by law, court order, or legitimate safety and fraud investigations.

Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to CNVY websites, mobile applications, APIs, and related services. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the service.

Eligibility and Account

• You must be at least 13 years old or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher.
• You agree to provide accurate registration information and keep your profile and contact details reasonably current.
• If you use Google sign-in, you authorize CNVY to access approved Google account details needed for secure authentication.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity conducted under your account.

App Permissions

CNVY requests only the permissions needed for features you enable. These permissions can generally be adjusted in device settings.

• Location services: real-time GPS and, if enabled by you, background location for active drive tracking.
• Motion and driving telemetry: speed, route, trip timing, distance, and related driving details.
• Contacts: optional access to help find and invite people you choose to connect with.
• Photos/media: optional access to upload profile images, drive photos, and shared media content.

Denying permissions may limit or disable some functionality. You remain responsible for deciding what information to share.

User Content and Sharing Controls

You keep ownership of content you create and upload. You grant CNVY a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display your content solely to operate and improve the service.

CNVY does not require you to publicly disclose sensitive data. If you intentionally share location, driving details, photos, or profile information with others, that disclosure is your decision and responsibility.

Service Availability and Changes

We may add, modify, restrict, or remove features to improve quality, security, and legal compliance. Temporary outages and maintenance may occur.

Disclaimers and Liability

CNVY is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CNVY and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, reputation, or business arising from use of the service.

• We do not sell sensitive personal data.
• We do not share sensitive data for unrelated third-party advertising or marketing programs.
• We may share data with contracted service providers (hosting, analytics, security, communications) under data protection terms.
• We may disclose data when legally required, including valid legal process, fraud prevention, or urgent safety response.
• If you choose to share content or drive details, that user-directed disclosure is controlled by you.

Your Choices and Rights

• Manage location, contacts, and media permissions through device operating system controls at any time.
• Request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal data, subject to legal and operational limits.
• Opt out of promotional messages using unsubscribe links or account controls where available.
• Withdraw optional permissions without losing access to basic account functionality, though some features may be limited.

Retention, Security, and Transfers

• We retain data only for as long as reasonably needed for service, legal obligations, and safety or fraud prevention.
• We apply administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no security system can guarantee absolute protection.
• Data may be processed in regions where CNVY or its providers operate, consistent with applicable data protection requirements.

Policy Updates

We may update this policy as products, legal requirements, and practices evolve. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date.
